Delegation of the University of Tuzla Visits the Faculty of Law

On 26 May 2026, the University of Pécs, Faculty of Law, welcomed a high-level delegation from the University of Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The delegation was led by Rector Prof. Dr Amir Karić and included representatives of the university leadership and several faculties.
On behalf of the University of Pécs and our Faculty, the guests were welcomed by Prof. Dr Adrián Fábián, Rector-elect, Prof. Dr. Ágoston Mohay, Dean, and Prof. Dr István László Gál, Vice-Dean.

The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for further cooperation and strengthening institutional relations between the two universities. Participants discussed potential areas of collaboration in education and research, as well as opportunities offered by student and staff mobility programmes.

The University of Pécs regards the Western Balkans as a strategically important partner region; therefore, strengthening relations with the University of Tuzla is of particular significance. Special attention was devoted to enhancing cooperation between the two Faculties of Law, with a view to developing joint research activities, international scholarly publications and other academic initiatives.

Both parties agreed that the meeting marked an important step towards deepening institutional cooperation and expressed their hope that closer operational collaboration and concrete joint projects would soon follow the formal discussions.
